NPD Kitchen

Set in our headquarters, which is a beautifully converted barn on the outskirts of Chester, lies our modern flexible NPD kitchen, “The Bar”, complete with full size oven, hobs, mixers, mincers & enrobing line, allowing us to replicate most of our factory processes on a like for like basis. 

The Bar is home to our dedicated innovation team and we regularly host days working on site with our customers NPD teams to accelerate recipe formulation and product launches.

Every project starts with you completing our standard product development brief. Our commercial team meets every week and if your brief meets our criteria and we believe Wholebake is the right partner for your project, we'll follow up with an initial scoping conversation to discuss minimum order criteria, annual volume targets, packaging options and all other relevant issues.

Once we've both signed off on the development brief, we'll create a deliverable timetable for your project outlining everyone's roles and responsibilities to ensure a successful launch.  Every project is unique, but the typical duration is usually between 20 and 30 weeks.
